Slane representatives raise Bypass issue in the Dáil 6th May 2009 and 15th July 2009

Slane residents were invited to make a presentation to the Dáil Joint Committee on Transport on 6th May 2009. This meeting was facilitated by local TD Shane McEntee who is a member of this committee. A follow-up meeting arising out of commitments made by the committee at the first presentation took place on 17th July 2009.

On 17th July 2009 this follow-up meeting was scheduled and once again a group travelled from Slane to observe from the visitors' gallery. John Ryle spoke on behalf of the residents. Fred Barry of the National Roads Authority and Tom Dowling of Meath County Council were in attendance.
